Basically winding down and relaxing after a fairly hectic 2 weeks. Although it was a fantastic experience it is nice to get back to our caravan and our normal lifestyle. It is a lot cooler in Darwin overnight than it has been and we almost put the heater on the first morning but resisted as it is warm by 8:00 am. Needed to restock the fridge as we turned it off while we were away. Found a butcher who would cryovac meat for us so bought bulk Scotch Fillet and had it done.
Wednesday drove into Stokes Wharf and had lunch with friends from home. Fish and chips with a Corona was very nice.
Thursday organised our planned trip to Cape Leveque in a couple of weeks time then drove to Berry Springs for a picnic lunch.
Friday drove to East Point for another picnic lunch then did some top up shopping before we leave tomorrow. Went yo Palmerston Market for dinner and the biggest problem was which Asian Vendor to get it from. Washed it down with a Smoothie each then back to the caravan to pack up.
