Heading South again today but only for a while. A lot more traffic now on the Highway and just before Pine Creek we came up behind a caravan being pulled by a sedan only doing about 75 kph. As you would imagine there ended up a long line of vehicles waiting to get past. Stopped at Pine Creek for lunch where they have transformed the old railway line into a little oasis with a lagoon and water lilys right in the middle of town. After lunch further down the Highway we came up behind the same sedan and caravan only doing 75 kph. Although people should only be expected to travel at a speed they are comfortable with travelling this slow on a major Highway is a big traffic hazard and can create accidents with people becoming impatient. This guy had plenty of opportunity to pullover and let vehicles pass but he just continued along probably thinking he was great that he had never had an accident. Unfortunately this type of driving gives all caravanners a bad name. Arrived at the Rest Area about 2:30 pm and found a nice shady spot.
