Car is fine again this morning and left at 8:30 am after a cold shower for me but Carols was hot. Drove out yo One Arm Point fora look but not much to see so continued South to Middle Lagoon. The main road to the turnoff was sealed but the 32 kms into the camp site was mainly sand and very narrow and we needed to pull over a few times to let vehicles going the other way pass. It would be a nightmare with a caravan but there are heaps of them in there set up for months as it is mainly a fishing spot. We had a magnificent spot on what is called “The Ridge” with views looking over the bay and ocean. Very windy for the tent and tried to position the car as a wind break which was only partially successful. Went for a walk along the beach after lunch then sat and read enjoying the view. Had chats with neighbours on both sides and shared a fire after dinner.
