Has been windy overnight and the morning each day but eases off during the day. Originally only paid for 2 nights but after getting such a nice spot added another 4 nights. Have put Awning in each night to save getting up during the night. Only walked about 14 kms this week as mainly rocky shoreline with only one small sandy beach. Another relaxing few days reading, watching the Ocean including 3 dolphins one afternoon and watching a number of vehicles get bogged on the sandy beach which we can see from our van. More interesting rocks which are mainly volcanic. The only facilities here are toilets and dump points at the other 2 sites but you need to be self contained with a toilet to be camped where we are. No water except Artesian water near the Rangers Station which is shown as Non Potable but it is up to you.
On Monday it was Carols Birthday once again in an interesting place. She got lots of messages and a special surprise Facetime call from Michelle, Ash, Jaxon, Bailey and Cooper which she thought was very special. Had stew and dumplings and a cake all done in the Camp Oven for a Birthday dinner and it is great go be able to cook on the fire at last.
