HOGWASH BEND TO RANGES VIEW REST AREA 380 kms
Crossed the Murray River at Morgan this morning on the Ferry then an interesting drive today as we left with clear blue sky then through fog and rain around Burra. Near Hallett there is a large wind farm and with the fog parts of the turbines suddenly appear sometimes only the blades with fog lower down. Found some Silo Art at Wirrabara, a magnificent portrait of a woodcutter and a Red Robin. North through Willmington and Horrocks Pass where we get our first site of the Ocean, Spencer Gulf.
Tonights camp is in a roadside rest area about 60 kms north of Port Augusta with about 10 other camps, nothing special just a place to spend the night. The strong head wind has continued today and although the days are sunny it is very cold.
