STUART McDOULL MEMORIAL TO DEVILS MARBLES 189 kms
Arrived at Devils Marbles at 10:30 am and only about 4 others there. We always try to get here early as it gets busy later in the day. This us one of our favourite spots and we usually have 2 nights here which gives us our first non driving day. Luckily we were able to get a spot we have been in before and the position of a tree and table mean that you do not have other people right on top of you. We had washing in the canoe drum which Carol spun out in the Washing Machine using the Inverter. With the strong wind still around didn’t take long for it to dry.
Although it was not busy until mid afternoon by night it was packed with people coming in late in the day and expecting to get a good spot. Very interesting sitting watching them.
Met Keith and Sandra from Leeton in NSW and talked to them a couple of times during the day. Did a chop stew in the Camp Oven for dinner but too cold and windy for a fire so ate inside.
